You can rejet, or add some univents. Univents are easy but if you ride allot of deap water rejetting would be the better way to go. I like the univents because you can open or close off more air in seconds rather than rejetting, that take wile and is a pain in the but since there is two carbs and you have to use a different size jet in each one.

I would start with maybe turning the air screw quarter of a turn out. Turning it out would give more air to pass through the carb and lessen all the fuel going in to your motor, turning it in will richen you up bu in this case you dont need to be richer. I would turn it little bits at a time, and from there, if your mid range dont clear up then i'd say you would need to rejet the carbs on the prairies.

Hello is there more then one ajustment screw on the carb? or is it the one on the bottom i need to turn? someone told me to turn it in - but you say to turn it out???????? so what should i do (in or out)
Thanks again

Im not to sure with the prairies if they have more then one adjustment, if your running rich then you would need to turn the air screw out to let more air with the gass to lean the gas out a bit, and if your not gettin enough gas in there which may be your problem too, then you would want to turn the screw in to lessen the air and get more gas into the motor. The air screw might be on the bottom of the carb, I know on the mojaves it is so your quad might as well be the same on the bottom. Hope this helps out a little bit, sorry to confuse you with the air gas thing, trying to explain it to make it easier for you to understand so you know how to do it.
