extended warranty
#1
Just picked up my prairie 700 camo two weeks ago. Getting ready to do my 10 hour service myself. From what I have read from you folks, it doesn't sound to hard.
So far the prairie is awesome. Power and speed is great. Its a pure joy to ride. I am considering the 4 year extended warranty. I have searched the forum, it sounds like some of you have used the warranty, and some have had no problems. If I do it, I am going to get the kawasaki warranty off ebay.
Hopefully it will be my luck again. I lost power due to hurricane's three time's in two years. I bought a generator and haven't lost power in several years If I don't buy the warranty, I will have issues, spend the money and dont worry about it??? Any advice before I take the plunge?
Thanks to everyone for all the advice already. Good board.

I didn't go for the warranty. Either way it's a gamble. The only problem I had so far is popping a CV boot off.
If you go for it, the last time I checked the 3 year warranty was only $50 more than the 2 year, and the 4 year was almost $200 more than the 3 year. The 3yr seems like the best way to go if I were going to do it.

Shoot. A 4yr warranty for $350 is the way to go. Go for it. If I knew about that when I could have gotten one I would have.
You only have until your 6mo. factory warranty is up to buy the extended...right?
