KFX400 or 700?
Hey as far as wich one to choose, I own a 400 KFX, My buddy has a 660 raptor, As far as speed I can hand with him, I have ridden the 700 trust me you don't want it. It weights as much as a car. Granted it's a V-twin but still, I have modded mine with a DR.D slip on and a boost bottle it gives me an extra 6.5 hp once i get my jet kit in i will smoke check a TRX 450R. consumer reports says the Kawasaki/suzuki 400's are the best all around bike on the market. Thats why I bought it. I have owned mine for about two months. I have ridden on trails, dunes and tracks. The only complaint I have about it is the stock front rims are soft, I bent the shi$ out of one on a rock but thats all stock rims. I would get the 400. Besides Susuki makes the best street bikes in the world and Kawasaki and suzuki are both made by suzuki.

Well, not entirely true. Kawasaki street bikes are not built by Suzuki. Kawi and Suzuki are independent street bike builders. Only some dirt bikes and quads are "co-built".

I love my 700, but I have almost every bolt on mod there is...
I rode a completely stock KFX400 and it felt so flat!! No midrange what so ever! You were changing gears up and down constantly. The YFZ for example, you can cruize in 3rd all day.. with the KFX400, you are always adjusting your gear...
Just my 2 cents.
