OK - the P360 is no speed demon, but...

Since this thing has so much bottom end, can it powerslide in 2WD? Do donuts?
I know it sonds silly, but this is part of the "fun factor"
I think I'm definitely leaning towards the P360. I can deal with a top speed of 45 or so - since most of my riding will NOT be WOT.
Has anybody ever not had enough torque on the trails for a given situation?
I like the technical stuff - hillsm rocks, etc. (and a little mud).
It seems like the Prairie 360 is tough to beat for the money.
I'll be riding PA woods, hills, etc (roots, and rocks, some steep grades)
I'm 6'3, 220#
Thanks,
Rick

Heck ya it can powerslide. I love to throw that baby around and do donuts. My buddy loves to get on mine a do powerslide and donuts since he cant on his outlander. ITsa fun machine. The only thing is, when you are going slow, pulling, mudding, or climbing a hill, make sure you always use low gear. i use low as much as possible.

I am a big guy and have a Kawi 360 and have been vey pleased. It falls back from the other machines on a long run across open ice on the lakes in the winter or on logging roads that are in relativly good shape. However it has extremely good low end power and, coupled with the diferential lock, is pretty tough to stop on tight trails with trees down over the trail, roots and rocks, etc. In cold weather, after the ground is frozen, I drive a bit right through the woods, without a trail, to get my logs. I don't mess much with mud but would think it would do well --- esp. with more agressive tires.
I usse mine quite a bit for logging and it hauls most amything. some of the sticks I hauled out last year were over 2 feet across at the small end and 12 feet long. Sometimes I put chains on the back to provide a little more traction on ice.
In two wheel drive you can have a lot of fun on the ice or loose gravel.

I have yet to be in a situation where the 360 didn't have low end enough power.
I like the front diff, get in tough spot, give a squeeze on the lever and up you go. Don't have to drive around with it locked like some other quads.

I love my 360.Hauled out a 700 lbs moose last year like it was nothing.
Like others have said, use low as much as possible.Saves your belt.
