Default Temp sensor help. please

Last weekend my fan stopped working. My gas was vapor locking and my overheat light never came on. IM guessing my temp sesnor has gone bad. I just let my atv sit and idle for like 10 mins and no fan or nothing. were is the temp sensor located. how hard is it to replace and how much would a new one cost. thanks.

I just went through that same problem. The first thing I did was wire a waterproof toggle switch to the oil cooler fan switch so I can just turn the fan on and leave it on. I mounted the toggle switch in the small Kawasaki cap that sits where the speedometer would be mounted. I went ahead and put a new oil cooler fan switch in so I can always plug it back in if I chose to. The second thing I did was go to Lowes and buy some of the bubble wrap insulation (covered in foil). I just simply doubled it up and cradled the bottom of my fuel tank to help prevent the vapor lock. It's kind of a tight fit but it works.
