Nyroc mod. vs. after market exhaust
#1
I did the nyroc exhaust mod on my P650 when I first bought because of budget issues. After I got the carbs figured out, I notice a nice power difference. Not figuring noise tone, is it really worth spending $400-500 on a full system. Is there a big difference or only a 1-2hp gain for that money.

Unless you have significant motor mods that need a hi flowing exhaust system (like Bigger Cams, Hi comp pistons, head porting, etc.), I don't think you will notice any significant improvement (other than sound quality) if you upgrade from the Nyroc Modded stock pipe to an aftermarket pipe.
If I were you, I'd use that money for other upgrades (tires, suspension, Dyna cdi, clutch mods, etc.)

I am thinking the same thing as I will have to take my exhaust to be welede and they are going to charge me $50 anyways (minimum charge) so wy not go with a $218 HMF slip instead

$50 is a little high. You don't know anyone with a welder. I did it myself in about two minutes with a friends wire feed. look for some one close by with a welder in their garage and tell them you will give them a $20 for five munites of work.
