Default 2005 Brute Force 750 Vs. 2005 Polaris 700 EFI

Gentlemen:

I have the opportunity to buy a 2005 750 Brute Force tonight for $6000.00. A few questions, how does it stack up against the 700 Polaris EFI? Is $6000 reasonable for the year model and with 243 miles on the ATV? Are there any concerns about the Brute Force I need to know about? Is it a good investment? Are accessories plentiful?

Thanks,
Maddog

Sounds like a decent price.
100% happy with my BF750 & it will smoke the 700EFI without even working hard.
Upgrades on the BF is the Tie-rods & ends, as the stockers are only good for about 500 or so miles. A set of aftermarket wheels & a set of Radial tires is also a good investment.
Tons of other performance items available for the Brute as well.

I would jump on the BF750 in a hurry. I have ridden both and I like the BF much more.

The Topic is BF750 vs Polaris 700EFI, not the Prairie or something.
Anyway, just riding a BF around for a while is not the same as owning & always riding the BF750.
I've owned the Prairies and I know for a fact that the IRS BF is a better & smoother ride.

LOL I reallize that..my whole point was it wasnt much of a choice. Seems like everytime we take the BF out something new happens to it. The dealer has had it more than the owner. Besides I dont think I need you telling me what I can post or not post when someone asks for an opinion....but thanks anyways. Glad you like your BF..be thankful you got a good one.

I also have a good one. I have absolutly no regrets with the BF and if I were to purchase a new quad tomorrow it would be a 2006 BF750. No quad is perfect but my riding style and the BF are very compatible. I like the P700 also but I live and ride in AZ and the Rocky Mtn states. The mountains are called the "Rockies" for a reason and the BF has the extra ground clearance needed to get over stuff the P700 gets hung up on. The IRS while not as plush as the 700EFI is a lot smoother than the P700.

I too had a P650, in the shop more than me riding it, I guess that means you are lucky if you got a good one.
My BF has been great, no problems at all but I have takin the steps to upgrade a couple of areas on this BF to make it better. Of course, I always do upgrades on all of my stock 4wheelers.
In comparing the two choices here both being IRS, one being EFI, one being a heck of less in overall weight, The BF is hard to pass up.

WVRed;
I hear you loud & clear on that but I wouldn't suggest stating that on the Polaris Forum.
I have two freinds with the Polaris 700 EFI,one loves it but has a very hard time keeping my Brute in his sight.
The other wants to sell his 700 b/c it gets to be too much of a handful in the tighter sections of the trails & he too can't keep up.
All in all. we all have Fun & great rides together.
