Default How do you remove a BF750 A-Arm Bearings...?

I've removed my bent A-arm and pry'd out the seals, small shafts and the circlips (on the side that has them)

How do you remove the needle bearing thats in the one hole and the "other" type of bearing thats in the other hole?

I've searched everywhere on the net! And yes I do need to buy an owners manual but I really need to fix this tonight if I can.

Thanks!

Jim

You need a small press or a large vice , get a socket that just fits in side of the area where the needle bearing race is and press it out into a larger size socket ... make sure it's as close to the race size as possible... if not you will just make a mess.
Hope this helps .

Thanks for the info Greg. I had no problem pressing out the heim joint bearing using a vice and socket but had no luck with the needle bearing. I'd tried cooling the shaft that goes in the bearing in the fridge and then placing it in the bearing and then quickly tried to heat the tube and press the bearing out... No luck.

So I guess I'm off to the dealer or someone else with a good press tomorrow. Maybe I'll even be able to find a bearing...

Thanks again,

Jim
