I appreciate all the feedback during my recent post. As us Marines would say, "Ooh-Rah!"
Now another question. What is the maximum passenger weight for the BF 750? What weight would bog down the machine? I weigh 200 pounds, and my weighs around 150 pounds. For a total of 350 pounds. If both of us ride this machine would it bog it down too much to ride comfortably? And would it exceed it's performance requirements?

I've ridden doubled-up before with a maximum of 400 lbs. and it was comfortable enough. I would
say it depends of what type of riding you plan on doing. If it is a legit trail ride through tough
terrain, it might get uncomfortable, or at worst, unsafe in off-camber situations. For short distances
over mild terrain, I'd say you be comfortable enough to get by.

 

You shouldn't have any problems but do keep in mind that the passenger will affect the handling, steering of any 4wheeler that is not made for 2-up riding. As long as the speed is kept down, No rough terrain, No hill climbing. no off-cambers then you should be OK. Even with your 50+ lbs vs the passenger, the weight of the passenger over the rear and closer to the rear axle does make a big difference.

 

Performance wise you won't be able to tell unless your doing sand drags. My brother in law weighs over 400 lbs by himself and rides my BF750 up sand hills I can't take his Polaris 700EFI up.

 

My neighbor has a BF 750 an he is a BIG boy at about 6'7" and weighs about 500 pounds. His BF seems to do just fine. In fact, I think the suspension actually "works" a little better especially on uneven terrain. The A arms and stuff actually move up and down. When his wife is riding it (she's about 120 pounds) the suspension really never moves.

Thank you all for the feedback, and answers to my question. I won't have to worry about it now... My wife said I had to choose between her and the new ATV...Gee, I'm going to miss her. Recon!

 

He must doing something right. She is gorgeous. We're talking model hot. Saw them both ride by on the BF when I was down at the mailbox this morning. Great neighbors.


Seen him get mad and tear the driver seat out of a Ford Escort once so he could drive it from the back seat. Left the seat laying in the parking lot and drove away. Should have seen the looks on the faces of the bystanders...funniest thing you ever saw.
