I just recieved an e-mail form K&N telling me that they now have an airfilter replacement and filter skin for the 750Brute force.

Yup, I just got my letter too, however the filter came out about three months ago (bought one immediately for way too much$$). Not much on customer service as far as new products are they? I badgered them about when it would be out for months and kept getting that blank "no news yet" statement..... Then two days after I recieved an email stating they had no plans to release it any time soon it showed up on their websight for sale....their customer diservice is totally clueless.
Great filter though!!!!

Mike did you buy yours through the K&N web site. I remember putting in a request for this on there website back in like June. I had no idea they came out with until when I received the e-mail yesterday.

I've heard that K&N filters are great for racing, but they allow more fine particles to pass through. Does anyone have any hard data to know if this is true? I've wanted to try one, but I have been a little leery in the past because I ride in such a dusty environment here in the Southwest.

Curls, I have used K&N filters in every ATV/motercycle i have ever owned. The key is to use the filter skin in dusty condidtions. I never had any issues. I know it doesn't get as dry and dusty here in PA as it does in the South west, however living ontop of coal mines the dust we do have is black and thick, and the K&N's have worked great. Just need to keep on the oil and cleaning the skin.

Have you looked at Uni-filters, they have one for the BF 750. I have one in my Rappy and it really stops the dust with it's inner and outer (2 part system) The inner is oiled and the out is dry, after a dusty ride I take off the outer and just wash it in water and let it dry. It is something to look at and it is less $ than the K&N. I'm not saying it is better or worse, it is just a different type of filter.
