I just ordered a pair of DG nerf bars for the Mojave. I just wanted to know how hard they are to install. And if there was any customizing i had to do. Any help would greatly appreciated.

 

well hopefully you ordered the alloy nerfs, their much more durable and have ALOT more strength then the steel bars.........the installation is kinda tricky considering their nerfbars, including installing the netting and everything it will probally take between 1 to 1.5 hrs.........the hardest part is bending the nerf bars the right way to get then to line up right with the mounting holes and a crow bar is probally the most usefull tool you can use when installing them.....good luck

 

yes, i hope they were the Aluminum ones..the steels would bend right to the ground if you steped on them, and yes mounting is kinda tricky, force seems to work well though

 

And how do u install the netting?

 

you loop it through the little tabs on the nerfs
