Ricochet web site?
#1
Is there a web site for Ricochet?
I'd like to get some real skid plates instead of the factory tin ones for my new BF650.
I don't see much out there for it. I see skids for P700 and BF750, but not for BF650.
Any help would be appreciated.

Rick, I just spend about 10 minutes replying to your thread and it never posted. Okay, here goes again:
I got my Ricochet skid plates from here: http://www.utahsportcycle.com
I ordered a full set. They are very nice and seem to be bulletproof but I do have one caution:
The A-arm guards seem to have been designed around the older A-arms that Kawasaki used on both the BF650 and P650. I understand that as part of this recent steering knuckle recall with these bikes, a newer A-arm guard is installed to replace the old one. I've been having a difficult time getting the A-arm guards installed because of the newer design. To see what I'm talking about, I've posted a thread on the Kawie Rider forums and another guy actually found pictures of the old and new A-arms. I'll have to PM you that link as I'm unable to do it here.
As you read that thread, you'll see that someone said he was able to install the Ricochet guards on his new A-arms, so maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'm going to give it another shot tonight or tomorrow and post my results. Rick, I assume that both our BF650s have the same new A-arms since Kollmers' bikes already had the recall work done before they left the dealership. -Rob
