I just used my '03 360 and my '02 Bayou 300 as trades for an '06 650 Brute Force. My first Kawi ATV was a '98 Bayou 220, which my wife still uses and refuses to part with - she had the choice of keeping the 300, the 360, the 220, or buying another new one, and she keeps the 220. I found the 360 a little cold natured, and the 300 even more cold natured. My 360 also had the fan switch fail. Other than that, I found the Kawis to be virtually bullet-proof. The 220 and the 300 have endured several drivers, and were still great. I find them all to be very dependable and rock-solid.
I just hope my new 650 is as reliable and tough as the others. I use mine for trail riding, but also for fairly heavy work, including pulling water tanks (full of water), using the winch as a fence stretcher, pulling trailers with hay for hay rides, and other farm work. On the trails, some of the hills are very steep and fairly high - even the 220 will climb most of them, and the 360 took them all. My son has used the 300 on many occasions to cross water much deeper than the ATV is high - it crossed like a pontoon boat.
I traded the 360 only because I wnated the power and speed of the 650, and I traded the 300 as well simply because it was not being used enough and needed a home where it would be used and appreciated.
I am a Kawi ATV fan for sure.

well all i can say is you got a lemon
i have had mine for only about a year
but everytime i go riding it is used an abused
and always comes back perfect
i have drowned it out twice
and i even ran it for awhile back to the truck with water in the belt and engine
the belt never stretched
and then engine is fine
i have had water go through the exhuast and no damage
i am about to get 27's for it too
i have it fully snorkeled front and rear
face it
you have a lemon
i am proud to own this machine

I Dont have a p360 but do have a 2000 p400 and It has never had one problem, starts on the first turn over everytime, has never died, missed, stumbled, or coughed. (rarely ever needs choke) It still has original belt, plugs, battery, antifreeze, ect. Actually about all Ive done to it is change the oil and clean the airfilter. It seems strange they would replace the ultra reliable p400 with something inferior. You must have purchased a lemon.
