Default mounting supertrapp on mojave

I have a stock 96 mojave and mounted a used supertrapp IDS2 race series [supetrapp header included ] and expansion chamber is hitting frame. I have loosened the clamp between the muffler and chamber so I could rotate everything as I was mounting it but it still hits the frame. Also how many disc for riding in the midwest and power at low and mid range? Thanks.

Thanks for the info at least I know it's not something I'm doing and I will try a few more disc and see where the most power is. As of right now it has really woke it up on low end power.

Do you have the quite core or the race core?

I have a race core but it is really not that loud with 4 disc in it and a spark arrestor on the end. I do get a miss in it when running wide open and the miss is at the top end but I'm not sure if it"s jetting or hitting the rev limiter. I backed out the pilot air screw 3 turns to get it to idle and not stumble on take off.

If you ever want a quite core for some reason ill trade you straight across for your race core. I would say your main jet is a little lean if you are missing on the top end and wide open.

Thanks for the offer but for now I'm going to try this one. I'm really surprised with the power found in that little engine with just a pipe. My freind has a 93 warrior that is in stock condition and when we would drag race before I would get the hole shot for about 50 ft. then he would blow by meand win by al least 6 atv lengths. Now I'm beating him by 2 atv lengths and still waxing him on the start and I out weigh him by 50 lbs. He can't beleive the difference either with just a pipe and no jetting.
