Default Gasoline stabilizer over the winter

Is everybody using Sta-bil in their gas tanks over the winter?

Default Gasoline stabilizer over the winter

If the quad has a plastic tank, which most newer one do..its best to drain the tank and carb, and leave it dry. If you have efi, or a steel tank, then id use stabilizer.

If your not going to ride it during the winter I would. I do in my street bike.

Default Gasoline stabilizer over the winter

I add Stabil to all my gas cans at fill ( they are all plastic, & may be exposed to frost, sweat from dew, etc. ). I also have never had any fuel related problems... that way I know all my lawn mowers & other motorized tools & toy's are protected... I also do not run them dry, or add any other gas line additives like antifreeze, etc...

why arent you all going to be back out riding?? unless you have snowmobiles of course then I understand but otherwise id be out. I did staybil in my wolvy and quadzilla last winter. this year the zilla is gone and the sled is gone but i put stay bil in the boat.
