i'm kinda of a newb on ATVs but kind of oil do they take?

40 SAE? 30 SAE?

You need to go by what your manafacturer suggests. Alot has to do with the operating temperature outside.

I put in 40 WAE...

Is it normal for the exhaust pipes to get real hot like a few seconds second after starting it up?

yes its supposed to get warm then get hot once operating temps are up. And if you want to edit posts, after you have replied and you want to edit the post look at the bottom right grey bar, it says Edit, you click that and it shows what you typed, then you just type what you want then of course click Reply to Thread.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

alrighty than... 40 SAE is good?

It does not have a raditor.. it is air cooled i assume..

hell kinda scared me when like 5 seconds after it start up the pipes got so hot u could not touch them

Does anyone in here have a 95 bayou 300? And what kind of oil do you put in it..since it is air cooled!
