Thanks for the info Shoot. I'm suprised that Auto store had a boot. It looks kind of unique. Were you refering to the upper boot right off the rear differential?

Sep, Yes. Alot of small Jap cars like Subaru, Honda and the like have the same size CV joints as ATV's. Autozone has pretty good selection. They have one thats universal fit too! All you have to do is cut off larger rings to get down to the size you need. Just don't get the split boots they are total crap, they are ok to carry on ride for emergency repair tho.

I would bet the boot you will need is the same as 92-97 geo metro outer cv boot. It does not matter auto or manual. I would start there.

Thanks for the help guys. I will get to this ASAP. For now since it is a small tear, my duct tape patch will have to do since I will not have time with the holiday and the more important holiday ( First day of Buck season in PA). Just need to stay on the trail and not go swamping

Thanks For the info Moses. I will look him up. FYI, CV surrvived the weekend. I was a little worried with some snow on the ground, but it wasn't enough to even come close to the boot.
