I got the venom 2000lb winch for Christmas and just installed it and it won't real out. It reals in just fine. When I hit the thumb swith for it to go out there is no sound at all. I bought a new contactor because I thought that might be bad but it didn't have any change. Is there any way to check the winch itself? I had thought about crossing the wires on the winch, but I don't want to fry anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Venom 2500 and havnt had any problems with it, except for the spooling up, but my buddies warn does the same thing, so i think thats normal with any brand. Great winch for price!!
