Default KFX700 power issues

I took my V out for a ride today and noticed something weird. It feels like half the power is gone! It will get to a certain point, and then just won't go anymore. It feels like it has a rev limiter on it or something.

Really sucks cause I was going to take it out all day tomorrow. But I can't in this kind of condition. Any ideas as to what it might be? I checked top of the easy to get to plug (front cylinder) and the plug is all black.

Try new plugs you may have fouled one, it might only be running one 1 cylinder

Make sure the choke is not hung up. This is a known issue on these engines.

Either the choke or one of the spark plugs in one of the cylinders is bad, causing it not to fire.

Maybe you have a clutch problem though?

The diagnosis (from someone who looked at it for me) seems to be that the chokes are stuck which causes fouling of the plugs. I'm going to bring it in since it's still under warranty and I won't get to ride it till next Sunday anyway.

replace the screws that hold the chokes on with hex screws (makes it easier to take them off) and learn to clear them yourself... they will get stuck very often..
