Default finally getting recall done!!!!!

Finally, set up and appointment to get the recall done on tuesday. IM ready to get them parts on and not worry about this anymore.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Bought my 650 last Friday...had the recall done yesterday.

That's what I call service.

Default finally getting recall done!!!!!

I was not able to locate your earlier post. What was recalled on your ride?? I just received the tie rod ends recall for my BF 750. They said parts not ready until late Jan 06

I thought they told me it was for steering knuckles,or something like that.

I went to my dealer yesterday to ask when they would get in the tierod ends he said he wasn't gonna get any till february or march....

Same recall I received for my BF750. Letter said I would receive another letter telling me to make the appointment but in the meantime be careful.

Lower your expectations on what is being done with this recall, on THIS forum I have been informed that I was getting new A arms and bearings, upper ball joints basically whole new front end. NO WAY!

They only changed the lower knuckle from what I can tell.

holly molly, im hoping im getting the whole deal because my right a arm has a slight bend it it. oopps

Thats all that was done on mine.
They were done with it in 2 hours.

Default finally getting recall done!!!!!

my brother just had the recall done on his 02 prairie 650 and he got new knuckles(new ones are bolt in, old ones are pressed in to a-arm) new a-arms. all of these parts included new bearings and new bushings. it was basically a new whole front end. all under recall, didnt pay a dime. oh, and they put back on his aluminum a-arm guards as well.
