Prarie 360 Clutch Problem
On my grandpas 2004 360 when you go to put it in gear it makes a loud clunk and then takes off without touching the gas. The idle is not to high so its not but somethings not right. Seems like the clutch wont disengage or something. Any suggestions, dealer tried to work on it and didnt fix anything. Any help or suggestion would be great.

Prarie 360 Clutch Problem
How many miles does the 360 have?? I have had a simular problem twice, both times it was the clutch weights & pins that wore out, they get stuck on the rollers & wont disengage, wich keeps the clutch engaged... If it happens frequently enough you can remove the belt cover & drive around your driveway until it happens & then shut it off, if it's the clutch weights you'll see it stuck on the roller. If this is occuring chances are you might need a whole clutch rebuild, not a gurantee but in my case my rollers were worn, shoe's were worn so just by replacing the weights & pins only helped for a few months because everything else was worn as well so it accelerated the pins & weights wear as well, those pins & weights arnt cheep so if you need an re-build I'd recomend that before sinking $$$ into a problem that will only be solved temporarly, of course I dont know this is your problem, just giving you my experience. Let me know if I can be of any more help

One more thing to add, it sounds like it's doing it every time you ride it, if thats the case you could have something that broke off inside the clutch wich is stuck somewere in the clutch, if this is happening, I WOULD NOT ride it anymore, take off belt cover & try to locate something, this has also happened to me twice before, 1st time the roller blew up, scratched up both clutches pretty good & had to replace it, 2nd time it was the swivel on the brake fork the engine braking actuator sits in, dont ask me how that came off, that also did a little damage!!
