www.velocitydevices.com It costs $350.00 Canadian, which is about $305 US. Plus the optional computer software so that you can change maps yourself is $50 Canadian.

Place to get them is www.velocitydevices.com just like hollowcd said. After it is all said and done just the CDI costs about $305 as mentioned earlier. I did not order the optional software. I also had to pay a brokerage fee of $36.01
to UPS. So in all its around $340-350. Which is very cheap for what you can do with this thing. I still can't get the grin off my face after riding it.

ditto cjroberts. I didn't know they were out for the BF750i already. Go to nyroc forum, there is about a 50 page thread there about these cdi's. You can post to the owner of the company, his name is Lyle, good guy. You will learn more than you want to know if you read that whole thread.

I have the BF 650 and trust me you will notice the difference with the copperhead. The way I understand it is that the DYNA has about a 31* , The Copperhead has 2 maps and I have one map with a 34* and map 2 with 37*(for 91 octain gas).
I got it hoping to just be able to do a wheelie but now it just smokes the tires.

Hey drizzle I have a Brute 750 and I have the VDI. Can you tell a difference between the 87 and 91 octane maps? Thanks,

I notice the difference more in the mid throttle ranges and blipping the throttle .... seems to be more responsive traveling in the 20-40 mph range with the 91 octain and map2 at 37*.

Sweet, I am going to change it tonight. I am looking to get a rise in the initial throttle blast. For some reason I am a junky for getting those front wheels off the ground.

For some reason my bf650 has never been able to do a wheelie. It cant even do it now. I do have 26 bugs on it and they do seem to be burning rubber more than getting traction for a wheelie on asfault. I will have to try to do a wheelie in the yard but those tires will chew up the grass.
