BF650i

Anyone have any experience with this ride. I am an AC fan but the dealer in this area is a d**k. The Kawi dealer is great, I have ridden ,briefly, the 750BF and it steers too hard and is just not what I am looking for. The sra 650 is ok but I want the irs and I havent had the chance to ride one of those. I really like the ground clearance on the cats and that is the only thing that has me concerned. The build quality of the BFs is really good compared to most of the other quads I have looked at. Any info would be appreciated. I ride on our hunting lease and it has some pretty nasty mud holes and when it rains you will travel from one end to the other, which is over a mile, and the water will be at least 1 1/2 ft deep all the way. Will this cause a problem with the auto trans. My quad is a manual 250 4x4 which has been lifted and has mudlites on it. It does quite well but my dad goes with me at times, he is 65, and it is a little un-nerving for him on that ride. I took him on an AC v2 and he really liked it much better. Thanks Joseph

the 650i has different front a-arms and shocks. it sits a little lower than a 750. some of the guys that have ridden both have given the 650i some pretty good comments. there is a thread somewhere where some of the 750 owners are thinking about switching to the 650i front a-arms to improve handling.

I just bought the 650i brute. I test drove the 750 but like you I found the steering to hard and it was a little to tipsy for me. And after riding a 650 cat for 2 years believe me I know about tipsy!. The 650i is a lot more stable to me, the steering is so light it feels like power steering and it will run rings around my cat. Don't get me wrong I like the cat but they are two different animals. If you are all about the mudholes then the cat is your machine . If I had to pick one of the two it would be the brute!
