Default BF650i smoking problem.....

Now I know that I probably should not be doing this. But with the awsome power from this beast I can't help but ride some wheelies every now and then. But I notice that if I ride a steep wheelie for 50-60 feet the motor will start to smoke very very bad. Then I can ride it easy for a minute or 2 and it clears up. Anyone else noticed this?? It's a 06 BF650i that I've had for alittle more than a week now. So far I LOVE this machine.
thanks
Randy

yea, that's pretty common. if ya ride wheelies with the oil right to the full mark, it will suck some oil from the crankcase vent into the airbox. nothing to worry about, i think.

Besides the safety and smoking issue, a prolonged wheelie can cause oil starvation problem if the oil pick up is exposed above the oil level in the crankcase as you lift up the front wheels. Later if your bottom end develops knocking noise, you know why.
