Default P700 EXHAUST

I am looking to put an exhaust on my p700.

I am uncertain on which brand and style to go with.

I am more after sound then performance. Therefore, I am leaning towards a slip on. Unless I hear negative feedback.

I am looking for a sound to remind me of when I was younger riding my 2 stroke dirtbike. (dynoport)

Any does or dont? How dificult is it to install.

I appreciate your feedback

Whatever you get, don't get that screams louder than 99db. A lot of guys with loud pipe get pulled over by park rangers in our riding area and they give a bad reputation to others.

I am not worried about staying within any db limits. I only ride on private property.

Ive noticed allot of people are using HMF setups.

What are your opions?

I am looking at the HMF Penland series.

I am still undecided on full or slip on.
I am after sound and it seems as though a full system is twice as much in price.

What are some different setups some of you are running?

Will I be disapointed with sound. I want something loud and noticeable.

I have an HMF utility series(slip on)my P700 and we put one on my friends P650. His has the quiet core and mine don't. His may be a little bit quieter. I have a K&N filter and re-jetted the carb. HMF will tell you what jetts will work best and the have them for $5.00 each. They are great to work with. Call thier number and it is answered by a person. (what a concept) I am very happy with the sound and performance. We put them on in about 2 hours including the re-jet. Good luck.

I have been continuing my research in regards to the best exhaust.

I do like HMF Penland Series.

However, I am still torn between full or slip on.

Are there sound differences between a full and slip-on?

Does anyone know how many dB DMC(Alliens) put out. I heard one on a 700 (not a prairie) and I loved how loud it was.

HMF claims to be around 105dB.

Any other brands that I should look into?
