If you are a type of guy who would put a pipe and K&N to squeeze out a few more ponies from stock engine, get a 700 since it can crank out about 5 hp more than the 650 at 6000 max rpm.

The P700/BF650 are the best bang for the buck on the market IMO. Owning a P650 and a Twin Peaks I can tell you there is not allot of differnce in the 2 motors you can tweek the 650 motor to where it will out perform the stock 700 for about the same 500.00 dollars they have built into there prices. The BF650 does have better plastic than the Prairie, if that means anything to you. The black plastic surounding the color plastic on the Prairie's is pretty cheap and tends to crack around the screws by almost just looking at it. If you trailer or haul your machine in the open air I would encurage you to look at the BF650. I was in hopes Kawi would give the Praire 700 that new plastic in 2006 but they seem to be still focused in there IRS endevors however week it maybe. The BF650 is a heck of a good machine for the money and the SRA makes them allot of fun if you still want to play around on the machine.
