I was wondering if a K&N air filter really adds all that much to mojaves? And when adding a pipe do you always have to rejet, and if so how much do you usually rejet? Is DG really that bad of a pipe, or would supertrapp be the way togo? Thanks for any help

The K&N would give you better air flow to your carb & better air flow with the required jetting increase should give you better performance. I would opt for the Supertrapp of the two your looking at. For one thing it is a tunable system allowing you to tune for whatever part of the band you choose. I've had a Supertrapp silencer on a Curtis Sparks pipe for about two years. Of course Supertrapp now makes the full system also.
As to re-jetting the main jet, the rule of thumb is to run one size fatter for each air flow change you make, so with a filter it = two sizes fatter main. With a tunable silencer it also depends on the number of discs you run; the more discs, the more air flow..the more air flow, the fatter you must go on the main. If you ride in any degree of dust it is wise to use an Outerwears or similar overwrap on the K&N to trap the dust.
