KFX 450?
Sounds like theres alot of options. With all the 450s out or coming out it would make the most sense to go ahead with a 500, EFI or not. I dont have enough experience with the EFI to know the up-n-downs, but I know I love my reverse and my LIME GREEN! So I'll take one, 500cc, EFI, w/ Reverse, and oh ya did I mention Lime Green Please.

I've heard the same things as motox26. I've also heard that Kawi is testing the crap out of the TRX's,YFZ's,etc. It WILL have EFI and a aluminum frame. It won't be a v-twin,thats a fact. The way Kawi is doing things now, I won't be surprised if its a couple inches wider and longer than the other 450's. I would say it has a 30% chance of being a 500cc quad. 450cc's would be fine with me. 50% chance it has electric start and reverse. Maybe the chances are a little higher than that for reverse and electric start. I'm pretty sure if they wanted to come out with a 450 with EFI and a kick starter, they could have done it already. One thing is FOR SURE. They are working on some thing awesome thats a 450cc plus sport quad right now. What would be nice is if the electric start and reverse is just an option. That way everybody would be happy.

It won't be a V-twin or a 500cc, it just wouldn't make sense from a sales and racing point of view. I'd say it will have E-start for sure, but Im still iffy about the reverse.
Not only have they been testing the crap out of the other 450's, but I hear they are testing the crap out of aluminum frames. Expect it to be a home rum with there new green machine's first at bat, ther KX450f has been!

I know that i have a bomb ds 650, but I am a kawi man and indeed i bleed lime green. I bought mine because i am 6-4 and 240 lbs. I really dont like an automatic and the 400 was too small for me. I have a friend that has a kawi dealership and he says indeed the suzuki/kawi deal is over. That they are doing alot of testing, and to expect efi, and possibly the tecate name plate. It would more than likely have an aluminum frame and a 450 engine based on the 450f dirt bike that Bubba Stewart hands everyone else their a$$ with. They have resally did their homework on the mx circiut, and I HOPE it carries into the quad scene. I am sure it will. He also said hs fills it will accomodate a taller rider, unlike yammi and honda. All of this is coming from United Cycle in Beckley WV. If it is true I WILL be back on a kawasaki, although i will keep my bomb also.

why does every one do this? wait till it comes out then talk about it!
Everyone always wants to know whats next, at least I know I do. I dont think I'll ever buy another manufactures quad so I'm always interested in what Kawis doing.
