What is better,what has more speed,power?best mud rider?

 

Hands down the Mojave will blow the recon away.2wd recon that is.

 

The Mojave isn't really comparable to the recon since the Mojave is a sport quad and the Recon is a utility/recreational quad. It more depends on what your priorities are, work or play. The Lakota is closer in features to the Recon so you might want to look at one of those. As far as being a mudder, speed and power both the Mojave and Lakota will blow the Recon away plus stop a heck of a lot quicker since they have hydrulic disc brakes all the way around. Recon uses antiquated drum brakes.

 

Ever consider the new 250EX?

 

yeah the 250EX a sporty machine with shaft drive! under 4000 dollars. it will clean up in this price range , why buy anything else? and i am a die hard polaris man but wow , good looks , reliable shaft drive, 4 stroke, what more could you want in a under 4 grand atv? There is no way i could buy a Recon, Bayou, Trail Blazer or Trail boss, with the 250EX in the same category.

 

Does the 250EX have a better suspension than the Recon? I heard they are one in the same, only change is the shell? Any info would be appreciated.

 

The Recon is a sporty utility quad but not a sport quad. The Mojave & Recon appeal to two different buyers. Mojaves are faster than Recons.

It really gets down to what you really want and or need.

I own a recon and it is enough sport for me. I prefer utilitys over sport quads though.
