Default Best sport 4wd quad bf750 or outty800 or prairie700

i was wanting to trade my sp700 for a bf750 or an outty800 or for a prairie700. i was wondering which one would be the best for the trail but i want alot of power. Would i gain much fron going to the sp700 to the prairie. I rode a prairie and i liked but it had a CDI and a T-4. rode an outty (my dads) but i havent got to ride the bf750. but i want to beable to keep up on the trail. i heard the bf750 isnt a very sturdy ride but the guy rode a straight axle so that might be the differrence. but i want a big bore sport 4wd. Have any suggestions.

The BF750 might have little more edge on the top speed, but if you compare the entire package, I would pick P700. The P700 sits lower, less tippy and handles better if you want to ride fast trail. Also, power sliding on straight axle is too fun to give up. I also think P700 is a more reliable maching in overall. I definitely like the aggressive and intimidating look of BF750. But I think P700 is a more reliable machine in a long run... You need to decide.

I totally agree. I had a p700 with 2" lift, 26" ITP 589's and it was awesome. I now have a BF750 with 27" ITP mudlites and it is as well awesome. But, for me, if I had to do it all over again, I would get the prairie and put 28 ITP 589's with a 2" lift. That bike is (to me) the best all around quad.

Unless the trails you ride are in a straight line, forget the brute. The handling compared to the Prairie or Outlander is all over the place. I had to spend $2000 in shocks, and $600 in a wheel/tire combo just to make it managable on fast trails. Kawi didn't set up the suspension right. The Outlander has the edge in power. You can get in the mid 70MPH's stock and north of that with very few changes. The brute has to have an ignition fix just to regain decent power. If you get into modding, buy the P700 and spend money for the engine and shocks, and really have something fast on the trails. Without modding, I would go with the Outlander, it is easier to maintain, no belt shimming, no goofy electronic braking, etc.

Please you act as if the brutes going to roll over in the first turn it goes into... I've had prairie 700 guys drive my four wheeler and the only thing they ever said was that they couldn't slide it what so ever but he did say he saw me sliding it around but just not like his prairie 700... The brute towers over the bomb 800 in GC its not going to handle as well when you're up higher.

The bomb has the GC of the rincon which surprising both are two of the best handling quads with that GC. lol

The handling issue with the brute goes way beyond GC. It has more to do with the difference between the front and rear suspension geometry and the spring rate differentials that it causes. If you ride tight, cornering trails with and without good aftermarket shocks, you will see a huge difference. If you don't push the brute so hard, you can get by with the stockers.

Runs a 730 kit from OMW with web109's and a 48mm lectron. It has some serious torque!

the outty 800 is probably the best trail machine, and behind it would be the p700. the outty has massive ammounts of power on tap and the highest top speed, low to mid 70's. and this thing can pop a wheely much easier than any of the other. if u give it too much throttle you'll bring it right over :-)
