If wheelie utility bike is your goal, and you have $9k, get the outy 800, punch it and die happy, cause it will be all over you. The outy 800XT's won't come over on you, unless you really try (more weight in the front, bigger tires).
My next choice would be the P700 with the VDI cdi and an aggressive primary spring - - - again, you will die happy.
I luv the Prairie P700, but got to go with the 800 XT for my brand of riding. You can get the std Outy 800 (it will scare you the first time), but I have settled down and ride the 800XT, which has winch, 26" tires, heavy bumpers, better suspension and handguards.
The bombs cost a lot of money! There is a thread on another forum, and the age of bomb guys is from their 30's on up.

I had to spend $2000 in shocks, and $600 in a wheel/tire combo just to make it managable on fast trails. Kawi didn't set up the suspension right. The Outlander has the edge in power. You can get in the mid 70MPH's stock and north of that with very few changes. The brute has to have an ignition fix just to regain decent power. If you get into modding, buy the P700 and spend money for the engine and shocks, and really have something fast on the trails. Without modding, I would go with the Outlander, it is easier to maintain, no belt shimming, no goofy electronic braking, etc.

Here is another thing, any v-twin will make incredible take off power verses a single cylinder. twins are torque towers. singles run out top end. and polaris is really a 766cc not 800 so stay away from those for sure. And dont over look the grizly . it does all things well,,-not great here and poor there- but all areas the grizz does well . I would still get the bf or prairee for my first big bore bike.. low price, lots of dealers everywhere, and parts are available besides off the line from corner to corner on trails power is needed on bottom and mid range of riding mostly so go get an affordable quad and have fun

..after reading the forums for the last couple of months..the forest & trails are going to be too Dangerous to drive on..lol power sliding, Multiple groups of big bore machines trying to pass each other on the straights so bragging rights can be had...death & liability lawyers will be busy..speed traps coming from the DNR or BLM...I too wonder where is Kawasaki?? I want fuel Injection again on my next atv..but for some reason kawa is holding back..I like my 03 P650..but the straight axle is a little hard on the back after 100 mile rides...might be looking at the rincon or bomb today..sorry kawi..won't wait any longer..drive safe all....

Even though i love my KVF650 4x4, i'd go for the new Outlander 800. It has everything that you need. Just go to their website and watch their movies on the Mud Bog, Sled Pull and the Drag Race.
Although, the Outlander 800 is expensive and if you want an ATV that has power, enough speed and that can get through the mud, get the Prarie 700 4x4.

I'm sure your SP700 wasn't cheap either.
Its tough to go from IRS to SRA even as good as the Prairie 700 is.
The Brute 750 is no match to the stock ride vs the Outty 800 and since the one-lever brake system must not of bug you on your SP, then I would look at the Outty.
The Brute in itself is a good 4wheeler but right out of the crate it should of been better.
Since I have done my upgrades to my BF750i, I wouldn't trade it for anything any day.
