ITP wheel kits for Bruteforce

Looking at ITP Mudlite XTRs 26 or 27 on C series Type 7 Black rims. I have a silver machine. What are your thoughts and opinions on 26 compared to 27 for this machine?
What is the difference between Chrome and Polished rims? Any complaints on Black rims? I think I am leaning towards black because it looks mean and everyone has chrome. Any and all feedback is appreciated and keep in mind it is for a 750i.
Most importantly,,,what can I expect to pay for the rim and tire combo???

i personally think the 26's would be better, i even stayed with the 25 mudlites. look at this way, you have damn brute 750, you dont need huge tires unless you mud bog alot. the 26's would still let you have a bunch of fun ridin. again, this is just my opinion. as far as cost , i paid 479 for my itp kit, but its just regular mud lites, i think the xtrs would be about 600. good luck

I put 27" ITP Mudlites with C series type 5 rims last year on my brute,, Paid about $500 for the kit. I've attatched the link below where I purchased them from, They had the best price plus free shipping. I also attatched a link to some pics of my brute. I will add some more photos tonight to the link that will show better pics of the Tires/wheels.

Zack make sure that you post pics if you get the Black ITP's. I am going to do the same myself but I am waiting on some money, damn marriage is cutting into my funds. I would have loved to get a silver machine, but $ talks on the 05 I got a deal on, I bet your combo will look unbelievably sweet. Good luck.

I had the Black ITP Type 4s 1st then I switched to the Polished Type 7s ITPs, the Polished or chrome wheel would look even sharper with your Silver.
Black wheels do show the dirt.
Click on the camera to the left of this post and see what difference the look is from black to Polish wheels on my BF750 SE.
If You still go Black, be sure to get the chrome center caps/lugs as the Black ones rust in no time.

ITP's website has great "Before and After" shots of the exact machine with either polished or black. I found it yesterday. Check it out fellas. I still can't decide which looks better. Good point with the showing of dirt and rusted lugs. Thanks for all the feedback. It sounds as far as size goes that 26's would be big enough. Now the only other thing is to sock enough money away for tires for mine and my wife because she would flip if I got new tires and she didn't. She is as bad as me for wanting new tires for her Kodiak.

How do the 27" tires ride? I just purchased a set of 27" SG super mud tires with vortex sg wheels! I paid $500 for mine as well? He does have the best deals around. Funny we used the same dealer, which is in Nevada whom the owner is a 21 year LV firefighter, (just another reason to buy from him, gotta help my fellow brothers) Anyway what is even more humorous is the warehouse where he gets the tires is 30 miles south of where I live. ANy let me know any info on the tires.

Hi Justin,, I've been very happy with the tires, its a little harder steering on the tighter trails at slower speeds but the extra traction more then makes up for it.. The last time I was out in the snow my buddy who has the same bike but with the stock tires, we swapped and rode each others to compare.. I was getting around in 2wd as where his needed 4wd to really get through with out spinning alot. same thing in the mud,,, I still have my stock tires/wheels and use them when I am doing something on pavement or where I don't want to tear up someones grass.. Any way good luck with your new tires and wheels.. and I've been a Volenteer Firefigther for 20 years. you can see some photos of our latest house fire on our website at Lambertvillefd.org I haven't had a chance to add them to my webshots yet,,
take care

Justin you put those new tires on I won't be able to hang with you in the mud. Maybe we can ride one day before we go to KY. We might need to go check the levee this Sunday, the river is supposed to crest this weekend. Bad memories of last year huh...Bruce
