Default oil pressure warning light blinking on new 650i

I got my new 650i stuck in the mud yesterday. It took me a while to get it out. I ended up using a come-along to get the ute out of the muck. When I got home, I rinsed all the mud off the engine, and took it for a quick ride around my yard. I noticed the oil pressure light came on. I shut the machine off and parked it for the night.

Today I started it back up, and no problems. I ran it around the yad for about 1/2 hour. I got the engine really warm, and no blinking light. And yes, I have oil in the engine.

My machine is new, it is 1 mos old, and I have already had the first maintenance done. Has anyone else experienced this before...............

Does anyone know why.................

What should I do.................

From what I have read on these forums and others, you probably got the wiring connection that is located below the seat on the frame wet. There is a recall on some of the BF's to have that connector taken apart and greased with dialectric grease to keep moisture out. They are suceptable to getting wet and causing weird electrical problems. Since it happened after you washed it, this sounds like the likely cause.
