650 BF cutout??
#1
Ive got 6hrs on my 650BF. Last nite I decided to actually ride it kinda rough and get it broke in. As i accelerated up a slight incline around 40mph the bike cutout, i let off the gas and gunned it again and it came right back. Is there a rev limiter in this quad??
thanks

There is no rev. limiter. Only in revers if you have the button activated.
Was the bike warmed up. If it is like my bike and alot of others they act VERY cold natured at first. That is what is sounds like to me. IS that the only time it has done it?

this happend to my friends quad the other day... a very small screw came loose in the carb, and when he rode it hard, it would just cutout... this probably is not the problem since it is new, but hey! jsut a thought, later man,

yeah, i rode pretty hard this weekend, I had no problems. The bike was warmed up when this happened. As long as I have you guys here I have another question. I went to start the quad yesterday, turned the key on, got the display, hit the start button and poof everything turned off. The quad acted like it had a dead battery. Under the seat near the rear are two relays I could hear them click when this happened. suddenly the display came back but as soon as i hit the start button everything died again. after tapping around a bit things would come and go....then suddenly everything came back and I had no problems the rest of the day..........
I did read a thread about some connectors under the front fender that could be relocated due to moisture and corrosion in the connector.....but I'm not sure...This quad as a 2006 BF650I
thanks guys..
