Belt drive or manual
#2
Me personally i would prefere my 360 to have been a electric shift like honda. That would be so sweet. I like auto but i much rather prefere the manual shifting. No stopping to put in high gear to get on the gas.

i have both, will happily use either, but kind of prefer the belt drive. it is easier to ride on the hard trails, and will let you go faster in many circumstances because it keeps the RPMs in the power band and you do not loose power during a shift.

I have been riding since I was 4 and have always had manual shift transmissions. I just feel more in control with the manual shift and like having the option of what gear I want to be in. I wouldn't say it was better than a belt drive but for me it is what I prefer. I think a lot has to do with the size of the ATV. If you have a 300 or less I think your belt drive is going to frustrate you more than a manual because of the lack of power.
I guess I live in the stone-age and refuse to make the "quantum leap" forward into the present! Oh well...it takes all kinds!
Peace Out...I'm off to the Florida coast!!
