Just Ordered The Moose Module For BF750 Off eBay
#1
Ok, I finally got off my **** and ordered the Moose module for my BF 750 off of eBay for $95 shipped to my door. My BF sputters from 0 to @ 10 MPH. Drives me nuts. I am not that concerned with the top end at this time, as the BF 750 has more than I need for now. I just want power on demand from the start. I hope this takes care of it. I will let you all know what I think. Of course, I will be waiting by the door for the mail truck with tools in hand!!

I have had the Moose on my BF 650 SRA for about a month or so. I bought it off V2Rider in this forum.
1. It does indeed take away the detuning from 0-10 and will cause severe whiplash to unsuspecting souls.
2. It does not make starting easier. I thought it did at first, but my Brute always takes a little to start when cold.
3. Plug and play, there is no tools needed. I timed myself and it took me 45 seconds to install.
4. Once you are above 10, it is bye bye Moose. Strictly for very low speed takeoffs.
5. It does not put the machine in a reverse override situation as I desired, but the other modules do.
6. Buying the Moose will simply make you want the Dyna or Copperhead to have the same effect as the Moose but all through the powerband.
7. 95 bucks is a good deal. I got mine for 55 bucks and have seen them in that price range on forums when guys want to get the Dyna/Copperhead. I would post on forums looking to see if someone is selling one for a couple of days before ponying up the 100 bucks.
8. I have a little bit of a sputter from my 650 and the Moose has not corrected this problem.
Note: The NGK Iridium plugs seem, and I emphasize seem, to help with startup.
Hope this helps.

My experience was not as rosy as BFB's was. The machines starts no easier with it, I still get 17-20.5 mpg depending on riding as before. Dude must own Moose stock. LOL j/k

Don't know how to explain it But that was the end result with the MOOSE Module installed.
My MPG went up about 1.5mpg more over the stock size tires I havebeen using.
My Best mpg is only 19 and that is when I am just criusing along, no hot-rodding.
My avg mpg is now at 17.6 and for my type of riding, I have no problem with that figure.

Hey bubba! Yes your right, the moose makes you want the Dynatek, and let me tell you, its well worth it!! If you get a chance, you should get hooked up with one! Otherwise, the moose is still better than stock.

Ok, Mosse module installed. So far, not impressed. I still have the spit and sputter below 12mph, just like some of you told me I would. I guess I need to take it in and have the carb adjusted. Is this a warranty job? What do I ask them to do? Just tell them it spits and sputters at low speeds and they will figure out the rest??
