New to the website- but i need an engine or bottom end w/ rod for 98 KSF 250
#1
Hi- im new here, and I was looking for a place i could maybe buy a motor or a bottom end for my 98 Mojave 250. It needs the rod bearing replaced and i am fairly mechanicaly inclined, but i usually deal with cars, and i am kind of skeptical about splitting the case.
I figured it'd be easier to just get a bottom end and rod and put my top end in it ( i've got aftermarket cams and what not).
The motor will start up and run, idle a bit off, but if you get on it and try to ride it the motor will lock up again because the needle bearings are falling out of the rod..
I live in Southern Indiana and would be able to drive a couple hours to pick one up...
Thank you!
