06 Brute force 750 or wait for Grizz 700
#1
Which do you think I should get? I have a Grizz 660 now (wifes) and was thinking on getting one for myself. I like the power of the 660 (when she lets me drive it ).... I do alot of rough trails where I need power (the grizz has plenty), Not sure to wait or try a brute force. What do you think?

The only advantage the BF 750 would have is power and a lower price(not 100% about price), a pretty big power advantage though b/c your talking 750cc V-twin vs. 686cc Single.
The Grizz 700 has EFI and power steering, probably better handling/suspension than the BF....and EFI gives much better gas mileage. If the Grizz 660 is enough power for you than I say you'd probably like the 07 Grizz since it has so many advantages over the BF 750, if not than the BF 750 has some sick power for you to beat your wife in a drag.

The brute force will run much smoother because of the v-twin engine design... i'm not sure how a 700cc thumper from yamaha will run-- or how the new power steering will hold up. What kind of riding do you do? mud/creeks, ? dirt trails? rocks?

Mud/Rocky trails mostly. I think I may see if I can another new 06 660 Grizz. That machine is very nice and has a ton of power. I like the 700 EFI just don't like to buy NEW models until the bugs are out. Yamaha makes good stuff as I'm sure the Brute force is also. Tough choice.

If you want comfort and smoothness through the trails, get the grizzly. But if you want nothing but raw power and snap, you want the brute. The only drawback on the brute 750 is that it is tough to turn, you will find yourself using your entire body to turn, because of the ecsesive wheight on the massive v-twin engine. I have no regrets from ever buying my brute, I love it.

If you want power and grace buy a BF750, if you want power steering and slightly stronger engine than a Rincon buy a Grizzly.
I for one love to have more grizz's and Rincon’s on the trail than Brutes. Less competition and when you’re out there they all know who the boss is. I’m you DADDY.

I'm sure the Brute is faster, But I like the overall on the Grizzly. If I want to go fast I just take my 450R Bye Bye BRUTE. .
