chev, was that Mike Walker's kit? i had to piece a kit together because i have an aftermarket pusher fan in front of the radiator and needed a different cooler element. i also added a bypass valve for cold weather (i had it left over from my Harley oil cooler install).

definately a worthwhile mod.

I ended up piecing together a new kit and also installed a push fan on mine, Came off a KLR 600 and is controlled by a toggle. I used a laser thermometer and ckecked temps on various places on motor and oil filter and after install everything was about 10 degrees cooler everywhere.
