Does anyone know of a set of front tires that will help with the push steer on the bayou ?

yes mine does the same thing PUSH STEER, when you try to turn it happens to like to push the front tires instead of turn, especially in snow or mud. but it even does it on regular ground.

I have read on this forum before that Titan Fast Trekker front tires help eleminate the "push steer" problem. My wife has a 1999 Bayou 220 that does the same thing, she has never driven it fast enough to find out for herself though. I doubt that she will need new tires for a few more years. Has anyone tried these tires?

no, I have never tried any other tires besides stock tires, it'll prolly be while before I'll need to get any new tires anyways.

I have the Titan Fast Trekkers in the front of my 220, and they work great compared to the old dunlops kawasaki put on to begin with. I notice alittle push steer in the snow (its a 220, what do u expect it weighs like a feather) but it rides just fine on hardpack gravel/dirt, and in generally dry conditions.

The way I figure, the cause of the push steering is the way the old dunlops were designed. They are more of a round shape, thus putting less rubber in contact with the road, and allowing more "bending of the tire" at the point of contact with the road. The Fast Trekkers are wider, and dont have the rounded "crowned" design.

Hopefully this helps a bit!
