mojave chain adjustment

measure freeplay at a point approx. in between the front and rear sprocket, freeplay should be around 1.5 to 2.0 inches. To adjust, loosen the two nuts on the axle that hold the axle in place. Then stick a screwdriver or something in the hole on the side of the axle and rotate until the proper freeplay is reached. Then tighten the two nuts. Keep in mind too loose is better than to tight as binding occurs when too tight. Hope this helps.

Zippy is talking about the two bolts that secure the bearing carrier. One bolt is next to sprocket and the other is next to the brake disc, both are at the very rear of the swing arm. Once you get those loosened, stick a screw driver or something of the sort into the hole on the bearing carrier and rotate the underside of the carrier away from you to tighten.

i have a question for you what dg exhaust do you use on your mojave(have you noticed any problems with it and is it realy loud or average for a after market pipe?) and when you put the extra tooth in front do you loose to much of your bottom end

i have a dg alloy rcm on my mojave and i like it.
many people talk of them breaking but they wont hit the tire (even with suspension totally bottemed) if you put the mount for the pipe on the INSIDE of the frame instead of the outside like stock.
