Forgive me if this has been covered in depth before. My mojave 250 has an annoying noise that occurs off idle and then dissappears. I have been told that this is all too common with the mojave . When I put in a new timing chain I noticed the springs that dampen the counterbalance shaft were loose. It would make sense that the gear is bottoming out on the pins that reside inside the springs and are hammering until the balance shaft reaches sufficient RPM. The Crankshaft and rod have no up and down play that I can feel. Am I on the right track?
