Default nerf bars?

Hello. I just got my 2006 kfx 400 last Saturday but haven't taken it out yet. I traded it in for my Suzuki 250 Ozark. I see alot of professional riders use the nerf bars. I don't plan to race my bike. I the nerf barrs really an essential mod? Thanks for your replies.

I would definitely reccomend getting a set, If your foot slips off the pegs, there's a chance they're going to get caught under the tire. Not a pretty sight. It will pull you off the quad, and if you're not wearing boots, say goodbye to you ankle, at the very least.

Since you're not going to race, steel will be fine. And cheaper.

Check and see what type of deal the dealer will make for you. And there is always ebay.
