My 06 is about the same way and has not yet been in to fix the clutch cover, I added two cap fulls of WaterWetter to the radiator and that really helped. You might try checking your antifreeze also, its not supposed to have straight antifreeze, its a mix of distilled water and antifreeze usually 50/50 or 60/40, might have been an oversight at the shop.

You should not ride it again till you get the clutch cover replaced with a new aluminum one. The magnesemia one reacts with the antifreeze and will eat through the cover and let antifreeze into your oil. Some people have reported it ate through in less than one hour. Get it fixed or your soon be singing the blues!
