Default BF 750 fixed buss conn, now no 4wd!!

my brother and i fixed my buss connector this past weekend because my fan wasnt working. now the fan works but i dont have 4wd. the 2wd/4wd light is not flashing either. we soldered up the buss conn. in pairs first which is wrong but we tried starting the bike, could this have fried my cdi? thats what everyone keeps saying, but i didnt think the cdi had anything to do with the 4wd system. i tried a new controller but that didnt do anything. we ran a jumper wire to the 4wd actuator and it works. we are stumped! help me please!!!

ruturn the wires as before, put in a new cdi and see what happens. i bet your problem is your break actuator. good luck!

What everyone saying is right that your CDI might be toasted if the 2/4WD light is NOT flashing and there is no 4WD . When you flip a 2/4WD switch on your handlebar, the CDI sends a voltage signal to Control Unit which controls both the 2/4WD actuator and EBC actuator.

thank you guys. a friend of mine has a brute so i may try his cdi first. if it is the cdi then perhaps i will try the VDI copperhead since the stock cdi costs more or close to the VDI cdi. i will see what happens and let you know.
