Just a question out of curiousity. I have an 03 Mojave sitting in my garage that probably has less than 2 hours ride time on it, never has seen dirt at all or even been washed for that matter. The thing still even has the factory sticker (shipping I guess) on the headlight and all.

I just never seem to want to ride it since I have my 04 Banshee. Anyone else have a Mojave thats basically new or know of one? I wish the prices of these things hadn't fell off so steeply, seems they don't book for much anymore because of the big bore sport quads out.

 

Is it like the one in my pics? Im pretty sure his is an 03. Got it from a dealer last year. It was a demo and I think he paid $2600 for it. Of course he had to be towed back on the first ride....it wouldnt start but it turned out the boot somehow got disconnected from the carb. Easy fix - quick little quad.

 

I had a 2002 that was really clean I bought it with a hour or two on it and then went trough about 14 tanks of fuel. and traded it in. I love the mojaves. For a 4 stroke 250 it hauls. I never had to back down from any hills, at least the ones around here. Traded it in for 1600 and paid 2200 for it. Not to bad for what there going on ebay. If i didnt want the downpayment for the loan i would have kept it.

I added a Supertrapp exhaust to mine the day I bought it and other than that it's a stocker.

 

What kind of performance did you get from the exhaust? He’s only ran about 4-5 tanks through it so far. I know its not a muddin quad but it has actually surprised me a few times of what its gone through. Only if it had a little more ground clearance. Overall it is a great little sport quad.

 

The exhaust seemed to help with throttle response more than anything, it revs much quicker now. Power seems close to the same. It is seriously LOUD though but I like it that way! I am running the race version they do make a quiter one I believe. In all honesty If I had it to do over again I would have saved my money and invested it in aftermarket front shocks.

 

His is completely stock except for a few branches he picked up last time we went riding. Do you know of a good site for aftermarket or performance parts for the quad?

 

I know the perfect site for the Mojave. It is Cycle Works Racing . This guy that has the site is a Mojave guru, and has quit the infromative fourm to. Lots of good info. Check it out.
