Has this happened more then once or is this the first time you have had the problem? It is most likely that your engine seized and you fried the piston if you cant get the engine to turn over which could have happened because of a number of things such as lack of oil or just a lot of wear and tear on the engine.....you will have to tear it down to find the extent of the damage....if you need a top end rebuild and/or cams or valves or anything like that i would check out cycleworksracing.net for parts and/or service because you mine as well bump up the power of your lakota while your in there....

Holeshotz, did u get my pm?
Anyway, does it just die or does it need gas, then die. How's the idle? High, low, unsteady? In my lakota, the needle valve in the carb got stuck open more than once and if givin any throttle it would die.

Anyway, nice lakota! Is it still 300cc? How wasy is it to wheelie and what do you think I need to get some good performance for under 500 bucks?
Also, I read about you trying a bayou jet kit on the lakota. Did it work? I've sent 2 pm's but you aren't recieving them so I just asked here.
thanks

Hey,
I found a good shop around my area that does all the engine work! http://piperperformance.com/index.html He is going to be boreing out that cylinder as much as he can, port/polish, rejet carb, and a whole lotta other things. With the labor charges it is going to be around 600 so far. I will be going over there tomorrow to find out everything he wants to do, and so he can get my approval of it. He works real fast!!! Ill get me a reciept and tell you everything. All I know is my kota is going to be hella lots faster than it was! I can't wait!

That thing should be pretty sweet. I'm jetting mine and eventually want a clamp on air filter and/or 335cc kit and biggun exhaust. Can yours wheelie? How many cc will it be after the boring etc?
