Default Brute Force 750 ignition switch problem.

Hey guys, on my 06 BF when you turn the ignition key off, the power still stays on , how do i test the switch? i have to pull the main fuse under the seat to get the power to go off.???????????? i wonder if there is a continuity check that can be done??????

When you say the power stays on, I'm assuming you are looking at the digital dash meter that is still turned on, right? It more than likely that the rear BUSS connector by the main wiring harness is shorting due to the electrolysis corrosion. There are lots of posts on this. Do some research and good luck.
