I dont know how to respond to your question. Unfurtunaltly I installed both before running the bike. I wish I would have thought about that and did them seperate. I know that I re-jetted my Suzuki and it worked wonders. I know that it was a pain in the butt to get the carbs out on the brute! But with the whole kit installed it produced great power.

I am having my 05 bf750 done the same way with the moose ignition module and jet kit. Should get it next week. Sounds like I made a good choice based on what I have read. I was haveing problems with it missing/backfiring through the breather and exhuast. They told me the carbs on the 750 are different and their jet screws can't be adjusted w/o getting a get kit.

The Moose "module" is not really a module at all. It's a rebadged dyna cdi. Dyna made a deal with moose to provide cdi's and let moose put their sticker on them and market them under the "moose" name. I just wanted to clarify. It's not a module, it's a rebadged dyna cdi marketed by moose. I'm not trying to be difficult I just didn't want anyone to mistakenly buy the old module and expect to get the same performance.

Thanks for the info. I am going to check with my dealer about which one they are putting on, but they said it was a jet kit and moose "something." He said it would increase the power from top to bottom and stop the poping/backfiring.

Fastfatboy is right. Its a ignition/cdi. Who produced it I could care less, the box says moose ignition and jet kit. Its a package deal. Vtwin you should be very happy with this package, if thats what they are installing. I know it really woke up my 650i.

I used the force Luke. LOL Just kidding around. I read about it on the forums. I can't remember if it was the connection or another forum for people who are "Kawieriders". But you'll be supprised at all the info you can pick up on when you go to several different forums. Do a search for the word in itallics and you'll find another great forum. I can't just spell it out or post a link. ATV connection has that word on an allert list since they are a rival forum and won't let you put it on a thread.

Well, I picked up my bf750 after having the moose ignition and jet kits installed. WOW, very nice! You can tell a difference right away. I took it for a ride about about 30 minutes on some trails and the response is very good. I only topped out at about 25mph, but the low end of the power band is very crisp and has an instantaneous throttle response. I am very happy with the results.

I was wondering did this add more hp to the motor or just release more pre-existing power from the detuned vtwin? Also, now what next to do to the motor.......any suggestions like muffler or anything else???

VTWIN the only problem with doing a exaust mod, is that you will have to change the jets that you just had installed.

Hmmmmmm, so what do you suggest I do next? I will eventually replace the shocks with some aftermarket ones, but as far as motor etc, I don't know. Also, do you know of a steering stablizer for the bf that helps minimize the bumb steer? If so, where can I get one?

But, I sure can tell a difference with the moose ignition and jet kit. Very very nice.
