Default Been a long time for me...

so most of the older people on here probably recognize my name on here...

but that is not the point....

I might be coming across some extra money in the near future and if I do I was thinking about putting it down on a new quad...possibly the new 450...now the question....do I want to wait to see what the new 450 will do, or buy one right away (other brand)

I would def. check out the new Kawie 450. It looks pretty cool, if you dont get that one, get a YFZ, they are pretty sweet.

As of right now my favoriate 450 is the Suzuki. The yfz's make good power but the ride is pretty harsh. IMO the honda's are a little lacking in power. Who knows what the Kawi will be like?? I personally am a skeptic and don't fall for all the hype. They may be great but like I said we'll have to wait and see. Iom the Suzuki has nice styling, handling, and a ride that won't beat you up. A good friend has one with a full Yoshi system and the fuel programmer Tuned on the dyno at Little Sahara. It made a little over 45hp and around 32-34tq. In300' drags his bike runs with ifnot ahead of yfz's with comparable mods and the cam mod. who knows the kawie may be great but if I were to buy one today it would be the Suzuki.

in a drag race the honda will smoke with YFZ and LTR.....

its just plain faster. puts out more HP too....

the yfz is a little better at handling, but its nothign compared to the LTR

LOL Well maybe on your planet but here on earth I've yet to see a honda that was only piped and jetted run with a piped and jetted yfz much less be able to beat them. Rider skill being equal and everything fair. In 300' on sand my prairie will take most piped and jetted 450 hondas. Your more than welcome to come to Red River Sand Drags and see for yourself

I will agree with your last statement though.
